Restart a Heart Day

Restart a Heart Day is this Thursday 16 October. Restart a Heart Day is an initiative that falls every year on the 16 October, no matter the day of the week or where in the world you are! It aims to raise the awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and how you can help by simply performing High Performance CPR (HPCPR).

We know very early bystander intervention when Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) occurs can result in saving lives. In fact, immediate bystander intervention is vitally critical to saving a life. Simply by you performing excellent quality High Performance CPR, and having an AED (defibrillator) placed on the patient within the very first few minutes of a SCA striking the patient, we have excellent chances of the patient being revived, possibly, even sitting up talking within 90 seconds!
